Rossignol USA Makes Sizable Equipment Donation To Alaska Nanooks Skiing

FAIRBANKS, AK –The University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Athletics is please to announce that Rossignol USA has donated approximately $9,000 worth of equipment to the Alaska Nanooks men's and women's skiing programs.

Ira Edwards, Alaska's Rossignol representative, was instrumental in making the deal come to fruition.


"We are very fortunate to have supporters like Rossignol USA on our side,” said Alaska's head coach Scott Jerome. “Ira has done an outstanding job for us over the years and we can't thank him and Rossignol enough for their support."


Support from Rossignol through the years has helped solidify top national results for the Nanooks including Marius Korthauer's 2008 NCAA individual national championship as well as Tyler Kornfield's 2010 US sprint gold medal.
